2008 Meetings And Events Calendar

Our regular meetings are generally on the second thursday of each month. Board meetings are first wednesday of each month (members encouraged to attend).

Beginning in Jan. 2008, our regular meetings will move to the new Community Center at Mercer View, 8236 SE 24th St., north of 1-90, right next to Luther Burbank Park. Our November and December meetings are held at special locations TBA.

Sept. 1-4 PSA Trip to Painter’s Lodge at Campbell River, B.C.
  
Sept. 9 Regular Meeting, 7pm, Community Center at Mercer View. Ron Garner, expert halibut fisherman and president of Sno-King PSA, will present a program on Catching Big Halibut in Washington Waters. Note that our September meeting is on Tuesday, not the usual Thursday
  
Oct. 1Board Meeting, 7pm
  
Oct. 9Regular Meeting, 7pm, Community Center at Mercer View. Program will be Secrets to Catching Large Lake Trout (Mackinaw), presented by Anton Jones, owner of Darrell and Dad’s Guide Service on Lake Chelan.

Nov. 12Annual Virginia Secrest Seafood Seminar with Guest Chef. Mercer Island VFW Hall, 1836 72nd Ave. SE (north or I-90, across street from Roanoke Tavern). Note this is a Wednesday date, not our usual Thursday

Dec. 11Annual Holiday Party, Awards Presentations, and Elections, location TBA
  
Jan. 9Regular Meeting, 7pm, Community Center at Mercer View. Peter Ricks will present a two-part program: (1) Catching Albacore from your Private boat and (2) Marine Insurance.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES of $30 ($20 for first year new members) should be mailed to PSA, Lake Washington Chapter, P.O. Box 727, Mercer Island, WA 98040. Membership includes monthly subscription to Washington’s leading outdoors publication, THE REEL NEWS.
